Hello from CHA: Day 2 Recap

What a day it’s been. CHA Day #2 did not disappoint. With stops at more booths than I can count and a long list of incredible interviews, I can’t wait to share this video look inside CHA with you on My Craft Channel soon. In the meantime, here are a few more snapshots taken from the show. I hope you enjoy this insider’s look at this always-inspiring trade show.

You know her and lover her as a My Craft Channel regular. Now’s your chance to see her in action on the CHA floor.

She kindly allowed me to crash her make-and-take party, where I joined the fun gals shown here for a little spray misting using Heidi's rainbow of Color Shine inks. Fun!

And I couldn’t get enough of her booth, which included this awesome marquee-style sign. Wouldn't it be great to have something like this in your own craft space?

We also had a chance to talk with Jayme Shepherd of Hazel & Ruby.

This is their first CHA, but you'd never know it by looking at their stunning booth, which felt like a handmade paradise. All of the lovely elements on display were made by Jayme, her friends, and her family using the new delights from Hazel & Ruby. Talk about a talented bunch!

Who doesn’t love sequins and washi tape? And there's something about your lovely sequins coming in testtubes and your washi tape being extra wide. Get outta town!

I want to offer this final look inside day 2 to those of you who love working with felt. Whether you put felt on your paper projects or you use it to create DIY home decor and/or sewing, I know you're going to love this new felt offering from Barefoot Fibers.

You can buy the felt in everything from a full bolt (like the ones show above) to individual sheets, like the ones filling the bookshelf here. Oh, how amazing it would be to have a bookshelf full of felt like this!

If you've ever felt felt, you know it's not a one-size-fits-all. Some felt is thin and flimsy, but not this stuff. It's thick and luxurious. And the color assortment offered is oh, so striking. Take a look at just a few of the cute things they've created with their products.

Yes, CHA has not dissapointed this year. I’m thrilled to be here, sharing this look inside with you. I hope you’ve enjoyed what we’ve had to offer thus far. I'll be back with a Day 3 wrap-up soon. Until then, enjoy your own creative adventures!

Cheers!
